What’s It Like to Make a Home at the Bottom of the Water in Minecraft? Dolphins Will Be the Ones to Wake You Up Every Day~

An adventurer said they wanted to live in the water

So Xiaoguanwei arranged it for you right away

Make sure to come and check it out, adventurer!

Underwater Villa

First, we choose to build our home at the estuary of a river

Then, at a spot 7 blocks below the water surface

Lay down a 6×6 base using white concrete

Next, enclose it with glass walls, four blocks high

Then cap it with glass

To make this room more transparent to light

Next to the original room

Place a 7×7 foundation using white concrete

Replace the central 5×5 area with spruce planks

Surround it with a glass wall, three blocks high

Then cap it with white concrete

At the positions marked by the red line

Add two rows of white concrete

Then, lay white concrete in the direction of the red arrow

To create the floor for the room above water

Following the shoreline’s curves

Leave a corner of the floor missing

This helps the house blend better with the terrain

At the far end of the floor

Place a four-block-high wall of white concrete

Then, following the floor’s pattern, build the roof for the house

Afterwards, place End Rods in each corner

Decorate them as the house’s pillars

Next, dig a four-block opening in the floor

Place smooth quartz slabs leading out towards the shore

To build an entrance connecting to the land

Directly beneath the smooth quartz slabs

Place glowstone

To provide lighting at night

On one side of the room, place stripped spruce logs

They serve both as a room divider

And as supports for the house

On the other side of the house, place three blocks of white concrete

Then place glass beneath them all the way down to the seabed

To create the shell for a water elevator

Dig out a two-block exit at the bottom of the water elevator

Then, dig a two-block opening in the lowest room to serve as its entrance

Place two signs at the exit of the water elevator

This way, they will prevent the water from flowing out of the elevator

Then, enclose the exit of the water elevator and the entrance to the room

Using glass and white concrete

To create a transition chamber

Then simply use a sponge to clear out any excess water inside

Then, using the same idea

Build a small transition chamber for the middle room

Again, cut a two-block exit in the water elevator shell

And a two-block entrance in the middle room

Then place two signs to block the water from the elevator

This transition chamber is also done

Clear out the water inside with a sponge

Next comes some decoration

Place a bed in the room

Make a potted plant using a flower pot, cactus, and leaves

Then make a lamp using scaffolding, End Rods, and a skeleton skull

Finally, lay down some cozy yellow wool carpet

For the exterior, decorate with coral blocks, coral, and sea pickles

They create a great effect when combined

Sprinkle some bone meal in between to grow seagrass for an even more natural look

For the remaining interior of the house

Everyone can get creative based on their preferences

But Xiaoguanwei suggests placing items like the crafting table, furnace, and chests

In the above-water part

To make it convenient for our daily tool crafting, smelting, etc.

Turn the middle room into a dining room

A classy underwater dining room, at that!

There’s only one word to describe it at this moment:

“High-class”

Adventurers, hurry up and comment where you’d like to make your home

Xiaoguanwei might just pick you next time!

And don’t think you can’t build a home in the Nether or the End~

As long as you want to,

Anywhere is possible!
